
BEHAVIORAL HEALTH & CONSULTATIVE THERAPY SERVICES
At Beyond Boundaries Behavioral Health, we provide a unified service model that blends behavioral consultation, psychotherapy, and crisis prevention services for individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) enrolled in the NC Innovations Waiver.
Our goal is to help individuals with IDD succeed emotionally, socially, and behaviorally—while supporting families, caregivers, and professional teams with evidence-based strategies that work in real life.

- Specialized Consultative Services
Expert clinical consultation to enhance behavior support systems at home, school, and community-based settings.

Training for caregivers, educators, and direct support professionals

Environmental and safety planning

Ongoing monitoring, documentation, and coaching

Outpatient Behavioral Health Services
Weekly or bi-weekly therapy sessions provided by licensed clinicians to address psychiatric and behavioral health challenges.
- Individual psychotherapy (ages 13 through adulthood)

Family therapy and caregiver support

Treatment for anxiety, trauma, depression, and emotional dysregulation

Modalities include CBT, DBT, and strength-based interventions

Services delivered in-office, at home, or via secure telehealth
Crisis Supports & Intervention Services
Rapid-response services to stabilize individuals at risk of psychiatric hospitalization, placement disruption, or legal involvement.

Psychotherapy for Crisis (as clinically appropriate)

Crisis planning and behavior safety plans

Coordination with mobile crisis, MCOs, hospitals, and care teams

Individuals With Intellectual Developmental Disabilities
We provide services to individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) and/or Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) who are enrolled in the North Carolina Innovations Waiver. Our support also extends to individuals with co-occurring psychiatric diagnoses such as anxiety, trauma-related disorders, ADHD, and mood disorders. We serve clients residing in a variety of living environments, including family homes, group homes, and supported living settings.
